Protein Discovery Inc. CEO Chuck Witkowski to Join Panel Presentations at the Tennessee Biotechnology Association Annual Meeting

Knoxville, Tennessee, September 26, 2006—Chuck Witkowski, president and chief executive officer of Protein Discovery, Inc., will join two panel presentations at the Tennessee Biotechnology Association's annual meeting, to be held September 28th and 29th 2006 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mr. Witkowski is looking forward to contributing to the strength of Tennessee's biotech sector by sharing information about Protein Discovery's success obtaining capital from public sources to fuel the company's technology development and early commercialization activities.
